What is Smile Styler?

Smile Styler is an orthodontic system using clear, removable aligners to reposition your teeth precisely. You simply wear the aligners for the prescribed amount of time as they gently move your teeth into predetermined positions, straightening your smile. Every set of aligners is worn for two weeks and are then discarded as you move onto the next set in the series. Your treatment continues until your teeth are beautifully straight.

Who Can Have Smile Styler?

Smile Styler can correct a wide variety of orthodontic problems, including:

• Overcrowded teeth
• Unsightly spaces between teeth
• Rotated teeth
• Underbites
• Open bites
• Crossbites

This system can also correct problems created by orthodontic relapse which happens when teeth have moved after previous orthodontic treatment. An orthodontic relapse can occur with age or when retainers are not worn as prescribed.

While SmileStyler can help in many situations, not every correction can be done with SmileStyler. Complex cases may still require braces, so Dr. Rick will assess your case to see if SmileStyler is right for you.

What is the Treatment Process for Smile Styler?

INITIAL ASSESSMENT

Treatment is easy. You will need an initial consultation here at Oasis Dental so we can assess your suitability and discuss Smile Styler in more detail.

DIGITAL SCANNING

Next, we scan your teeth using a small intra-oral scanner which is a tiny camera that creates perfect 3-D images of your teeth. We use these images to digitally design your perfect smile, creating your custom orthodontic treatment plan. Your treatment plan will show exactly how your teeth will move and predicts the length of treatment required. You will preview this plan with Dr. Rick and can see digital images showing a virtual representation of your new smile.

SMILE STYLER

Once you approve the plan, we make your custom-made aligners, and you begin treatment.

Smile Styler is simple to use, as you can remove the aligners for eating, brushing and flossing your teeth. There is no need to change your diet or oral hygiene habits as treatment has minimal impact on everyday life. Within a year or two, you can have the amazing smile you have always wanted.
